TIPS on Living Parasite-Free

If you really want to remain parasite-free, here are the most important steps to follow.

After reading this, go to the parasite cleanse page to get information on the best do-it-yourself parasite cleanses.

1. Keep pets outside.

During your healing process, find a good home for all your house pets.  Parasite reinfestation from house pets is very fast and makes the parasite program useless.  After they are gone, your house will need to have a thorough cleaning.  The reasons that pets must be placed elsewhere are:  litter boxes, which are a source of parasites, especially toxoplasmosis, they lick themselves (including their rear end) with their tongue, and then lick you.  You can also catch parasites by inhaling dust containing dried animal feces.  “Vacuuming a carpet blasts mites and tapeworm eggs into the air.” p. 408 “Cure for All Diseases.” by Dr. Hulda Clark.

Every home should implement the following guidelines:

  • Do not let pets sleep in your bed.  Dr. Hulda Clark says “Never allow a pet into the bedroom or the household dust will have tapeworm eggs as well as mites.  Throw out rugs that have been pet-beds.”  (p. 408, “Cure for All Diseases“).  The parasites from the pet often lay their eggs in your sheets and blankets.  Clean your sheets and blankets regularly if your pet sleeps there.
  • Put your pets on a herbal parasite program.
  • Do not allow your pets to use your dishes, or even lick your face or arms.  Parasites can be found in the pet’s saliva, which enters your body.
  • Do not allow your pet to lick your small children or their toys, as children put toys in their mouths.  After an animal licks you, wash your hands thoroughly.
  • If you have a backyard sandbox, keep it covered, so neighborhood animals will not bury their feces there.  The sand provides a perfect environment that is ideal for the development and survival of hookworm larvae from cats.  Your children could easily become infected.
  • Keep your yard cleaned up of all animal feces, and keep stray dogs and cats out.

2. Keep your hands out of your mouth.  Parasites can be passed to you by shaking hands.  Stop nail biting.  Nail biting is an extremely efficient transport mechanism for parasites.

3. Wash all your fruits and vegetables, and especially those transported from other parts of the world.  Use only a non-toxic healthy variety of food grade cleaner.

4. Do not eat raw meat.   Beef and pork can be loaded with tapeworms.  Do not eat raw fish as in sushi or raw tuna.  I have been both live and dead worms in raw salmon and snapper fish.  You will mot likely get worms by eating raw fish.  It is best to become a vegetarian.  Meats should be washed before cooking and thoroughly cooked.

5. Wash your hands often.   Especially when handling raw meat, chicken and fish in the kitchen, wash your hands before doing other things like preparing the salad.  Wash your hands after using the bathroom or even working in the garden.

6. Use a separate cutting board for vegetables and meats.  Be careful to thoroughly wash all utensils that have touched uncooked meat.

7. Change the dish washing cloth and the dishtowel often.  One of the biggest bacteria carriers in the home is the kitchen dish washing cloth and the second is the dishtowel.

8. Do not drink out of streams and rivers, lakes or creeks, without first filtering the water.

9. When one partner is on the parasite cleanse, the other one should be doing it also.  Parasites can be passed from kissing and intimate sexual contact.

10. Avoid refined sugars.  Parasites love sugar. Parasites also like fried and greasy foods.

11. Parasites thrive when you are constipated.  They have no way out, so they reproduce rapidly.  Go to “Ideas for Cleansing your Colon” if your bowels are not working regularly 1-3 times per day, in order to rid yourself or parasites.

12. Foods to Avoid:  Greasy foods, sugar, dairy and wheat, which are all acid-forming foods.  Foods to Eat:  Green leafy vegetables, all fresh fruits and vegetables, garlic, pumpkin seeds.

13.  Hulda Clark Zapper:  Get started on the 5-minute cycle, get your pets hooked up, and everyone in your house.

Yours for keeping parasite-free,

Lyn

Hulda Clark Bowel Program

(from the book “The Cure for All Diseases“,  copyright 1995 by Hulda Regehr Clark, PhD, N.D.)

Bacteria are always at the root of bowel problems, such as pain, bloating and gassiness …..Although most bowel bacteria are beneficial, the ones that are not, like Salmonellas and Shigellas, are extremely detrimental because they have the ability to invade the rest of your body and colonize a trauma site or weakened organ …..Another reason bowel bacteria are so hard to eradicate is that we are constantly reinfecting ourselves by keeping a reservoir on our hands and under our fingernails.”

High Fiber COOKIE Recipe!

Also known in our household as BIRDSEED COOKIE RECIPE!!!

Here’s a cookie recipe I adapted from a school cookbook and is a favorite.  It is a never fail recipe, and easy to make.  If you feel the dough is too stiff, add a teaspoon or so of water.  Feel free to substitute ingredients.  I often roll the dough into a log and freeze it.  Make fresh cookies when you want them.

Cleansing Juice Recipes

Vegetable and Fruit juices provide complete nutrition in a natural food form.

Your body can absorb the food and go to work using the nutrients for repair, rejuvenation, and rebuilding of any part of the body that needs help.  Whenever I drink freshly juiced vegetable juice, I feel an instant surge of energy and feel that cleansing action in my body immediately.

Steve Meyerowitz has said: “Condensing pounds of valuable foods into a single glass, while simultaneously maximizing assimilation, is what makes drinking juice so beneficial to health”.  I agree.

We have used the Champion Juicer for over 20 years and find it does a wonderful job.  You will need a heavy-duty juicer like a Champion, or a Breville juicer to give you good extraction of juice from the dry pulp.

“When the vegetable juices are raw and fresh, the water they contain is actually Distilled Water, distilled by Nature, and they contain exactly what the body needs, the finest quality of nourishment”.  Water Can Undermine Your Health, 1996 Edition, by Dr. Norman Walker, p.4

Try out some of these great juices.  Every one of them will be good for you.  Have some fun and enjoy God’s great gift of health as you drink them.

8.  Our Personal Usual Healthy Juice Blend
I am trying to follow Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s nutrient-dense, low glycemic index chart.  Also, I am trying to use as many “above-ground” vegetables as possible.  Here is a typical juice blend that we make at our house.  We try to go to the local vegetable market where people sell their organic produce, to get locally grown healthy nutrition.

1 bunch of parsley
1/2 bunch of cilantro
3 carrots
1/2 bunch of celery
1 cucumber
5 kale leaves
2 inch piece of ginger (use less if this is too strong)
1/2 lemon
2-3 medium size beets with greens
1 lettuce, endive, spinach or combination of whatever you have
3 organic apples

TIPS from “Make your Juicer Your Drug Store” by Dr. L. Newman

  • Raw carrot juice is excellent for babies and growing children, as it contains the minerals and vitamins necessary for health and growth.
  • Diabetes/Pancreas support juice:  A combination of carrot, celery and parsley juice with the juice of either string bean, cabbage or brussels sprouts (using carrot and celery in about equal proportions, or even one-third carrot and two-thirds celery).  Start with one glassful and increase over time until you take two quarts per day.
  • Beet juice improves both the quality of the blood and also the circulation.  Take 1/3 beet juice along with 2/3 carrot and celery juice.
  • Carrot juice, rich in Vitamin. A, is good for the eyesight.  Make carrot and parsley juice for the eyes.
  • Carrot juice supports the body with any place that is lined or covered with mucous membrane i.e. lungs
  • Dandelion juice is a blood builder and purifier, liver cleanser, gall bladder and spleen.  It increases the flow of bile and saliva so it is an aid to digestion.  It has also been used for such conditions as diabetes, liver and kidney troubles.  (I suggest that you add it to carrot juice).
  • Bathe in the morning sun.  A sun bath and air bath is a great purifier.
  • Most health problems begin with constipation.
  • Two to three hot Epsom salts baths weekly will help to promote better circulation and also rid the body of waste matter through the skin pores.

TIPS from “Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices” by N.W. Walker

  • Cucumber juice is a good natural diuretic, promoting the flow of urine.  Also it promotes hair growth due to its high silicon and sulfur content.
  • Parsley juice is potent and should be taken along with carrot juice.
  • Spinach juice helps to cleanse and heal the lower bowels and the intestinal tract, plus it supports the teeth and gums preventing pyorrhea.
  • Turnip leaves contain the highest percentage of calcium of any vegetable.  Combine turnip leaf juice with carrot and dandelion juice to support the bones and teeth.  Turnip leaves are also a strong alkalizer, especially when combined with celery and carrot juices
  • Watercress juice added to carrot, parsley and potato juices has been helpful for emphysema.
  • Beet juice has been helpful for menstrual disturbances and during menopause.  Take 2-3 ounces two or three times a day.

2 Cleansing Baths

2 Cleansing Baths

1.  GINGER BATH
(for extracting poisonous toxins from the body)

Note:  I took an Iridology training course taught by Teresa Schumacher and her daughter, Toni Lund.  We learned about the Ginger Bath in the training course.  Although I still have this recipe in my notes, the following comes from Teresa’s book “Cleansing the Body and the Colon for a Happier and Healthier You”, which I received at the course.

Ingredients:
3 heaping tablespoons of ginger powder (purchased in bulk at a health food store or grocery store)
Bathtub of warm water
Herb Tea or Chicken Broth sprinkled with Cayenne

Directions:
Get into the bathtub and increase the temperature of the water until it is hot (not burning).
Sit in the tub of water for 20 minutes and drink the tea/soup.

You should feel like sweating.
After 20-30 minutes, dry off and wrap yourself in a sheet or light blanket.

Go to bed for an hour and continue to sweat.  Remove the sheet or blanket and enjoy a good night’s rest.

The ginger bath releases toxins from the body, and will give you a sense of renewed vigor and health.  This treatment is ideal whenever you feel a cold or flu coming on.  It quickly removes the toxins from the body and decreases the time you would spend being ill.

Do not expect results overnight.  Long-term problems take a longer time and patience.

2.  EPSOM SALTS BATH – LYMPHATIC CLEANSE BATH
(from a friend, Gail)

Ingredients:
1 cup baking soda
1 cup Epsom salts (USP Grade)
Tub filled with hot water – as hot as you can comfortably soak in.

Procedure:
Soak in the tub for 20 – 30 minutes.
When you come out, relax and sweat it out.

Helps the lymphatic system, blood circulation, and skin detox.  See the list below for extra benefits.

When you get out of the tub, wrap in a blanket and let your body sweat and detox even more.

3.  EPSOM SALTS CLEANSE BATH RECIPE II

(from a mother of an autistic child)

Ingredients:
1 cup Epsom salts  (USP grade)
Tub filled with hot water – as hot as you can soak in

Procedure:
Soak in the tub for 20 – 30 minutes

This bath is a simple, effective way to supply the body with magnesium and sulphur, which are absorbed well through the skin.
It is great for autistic children in that they are generally lacking in magnesium and sulfur, and have difficulty metabolizing them.

Try this bath right before bed time.
May help with insomnia.

Epsom Salts has also been used for:

  • pain relief – like arthritic pain, muscle aches, tenderness and discomfort
  • pain from sports and muscle tenderness from sprains and strains
  • improving sleep
  • cramps or restless leg syndrome
  • energy boost
  • stress relief
  • helping the body heal
  • detoxify the skin and pores
  • insect bites
